Meetings

Windham Hill Inn specializes in hosting small corporate meetings and executive retreats. Special conference features of the Inn include:

Windham Hill Inn sits on a 160 acre Green Mountain hillside "at the end of a country road" in the heart of Southern Vermont. The Inn's convenient central location (a mile off Route 30 about halfway between Brattleboro and Manchester) makes Southern Vermont's many activities and attractions easily accessible.

During the past ten years the entire Inn has undergone extensive renovation and remodeling. In 1998, a new 1,000 square foot Conference Center opened in the White Barn, featuring birch and cherry floors, a fieldstone fireplace, oriental rugs, classic mahogany tables, tapestry-upholstered swivel chairs, native cherry paneling and casing, and distinctive lighting. Groups ranging in size up to 30+ can be comfortably accommodated in a variety of seating configurations.

Most guestrooms have king or queen size beds. Fifteen rooms have fireplaces or Vermont Castings stoves, ten feature private decks. Rooms are furnished with antiques and/or fine furniture made by local craftspeople. All rooms have telephones, comfortable seating and are well-lighted for reading. All rooms in both the main house and White Barn are centrally air-conditioned.

The culinary staff at the Inn can provide any combination of breakfast, luncheon, dinner, morning and afternoon breaks for your event. Extensive additional food and beverage information, including sample menus, is available. Read more about our dining and restaurant services.

There is a four-mile network of hiking trails, a native Vermont clay tennis court and heated swimming pool. We have snowshoes available for complimentary guest use. We also have tobogganing and a lighted pond for skating, weather permitting.

Nearby activities, depending on the season, include:

  • Golf (Brattleboro Country Club, Tater Hill Golf Club, Stratton, Mount Snow, Gleneagles at the Equinox and Okemo Valley)
  • Boating (Townshend Lake, West River,  Grout Pond, Battenkill River)
  • Hiking (Jamaica and Townshend State Parks, Townshend Dam Recreational Area, Green Mountain National Forest)
  • Biking / Mountain biking (Stratton, Mount Snow, Grafton Ponds, numerous back roads)
